Hi, I’m Grace. In 2013 I first started yoga at a gym near my house. That teacher inspired me so much; her voice, her knowledge, her gentle caring way of teaching, it made me feel at home. The gym closed, so I followed her to Balanzs, where I discovered different styles of yoga. When working as a schoolteacher, studying to become a coach and starting my own company got too much for me, my body said: No further. That was a great lesson for me! Yin yoga and shiatsu massages helped me to feel sensations in my body and listen to my body! On my scuba dive travels to Asia I really learned to trust my intuition and follow it.
During my Yoga Teacher Training I fell in love with the gentle, yin side of yoga. But I realize that a body needs both, yin and yang. Everything in life is in balance, in flow, in circles. Like the fact that I now teach at Laan van NOI, so close to the gym where my first yoga experience started! I feel blessed.
